August 22, 2009 - We will meet at the Oaks parking lot at 7:45 a.m. and leave from there at 8:00 a.m. prompt. We will then proceed to where Highway 49 (Grass Valley/Nevada City) crosses the Middle Yuba (some call this area Freeman's Crossing) and meet up with our Sacramento members. We will leave Freeman's Crossing at 9:00 a.m. for the Oregon Creek gold field which is about 1 hour from Freeman's Crossing.
